Goethe Room in Weimar City Castle

The castle is currently undergoing renovation and is gradually being reopened to the public. Visitors can now take a guided tour of the commemorative rooms which are dedicated to the poets Wieland, Herder, Schiller and Goethe. Together, the Poet Rooms represent a total artwork with each room telling a story of its own.
