Shanghai Guanfu Museum

Shanghai Guanfu Museum
Shanghai, China

From Han dynasty to the Song dynasty, dangling hairpins gradually evolved into a fixed style, but the characteristic dangling has been retained. The top of this dangling hairpin was wired to several flower petals. The middle part is the main design---flowers inlaid with ruby. Two butterflies were applied with the technique of cloisonnet(cloisonne).
