Gold coloured medal, circular, won by George A Moir for first place in 1899 Melbourne University 100 yard sprint. Obverse has an Angel (the University's symbol) and the circumference bears the words "POSTERA CRESCAM LAUDE". Reverse is inscribed with the name of recipient, the date and the event.
