Gold medal won by Frank Beaurepaire for first place in a 440 Yards swim in January, 1908. Obverse features a mermaid with text in the legend that reads "VICTORIAN AMATEUR SWIMMING ASSOCIATION". Reverse features V.A.S.A. monogram and inscription that reads "CHAMPIONSHIP OF VICTORIA. 440 YDS / JAN 1908 / Won By / F. BEAUREPAIRE". Decorative loop attachment at top.
