Obverse features A.A.S.C. monogram surrounded by a legend with text that reads "AUSTRALASIAN AMATEUR SWIMMING CHAMPIONSHIP". Inscription on reverse reads "440 Yards. / SYDNEY 23.1.09 / FIRST / F.E.
