Gold medal won by Frank Beaurepaire for first place in a 500 Yards swim on 2nd February, 1907. Obverse features a mermaid with text in the legend that reads "VICTORIAN AMATEUR SWIMMING ASSOCIATION". Reverse features V.A.S.A. monogram and inscription reads "500 Yards Championship / 2.2.07 / Won by / FRANK DE BEAUREPAIRE / Time 7m.12 3/5s.". Decorative loop attachment at top.
