Gold sheath for a scepter

The entire form of the object was a gold sheath, however, the original scepter within has perished, leaving only the layer of its golden shell. On its surface are depictions of human faces, fish, birds and the combinations of patterns. These may be the symbolic emblem of a group or clan.
