An older man takes a dip in the pool at the Golden Temple which is one of the holiest sites of Sikhism and is also known as Harimandir Sahib (Abode of God). The man is in the foreground of the image and only his head is visible; the rest of his body is submerged in water; the temple is further in the background. Contrary to how bustling and bright the physical space is, the bright golden architecture of the temple appears as a quiet grey toned image of the background. The image has a quality of calmness and silence.
