The Golondrina Complex tool kit would have been used for hunting small game and harvesting plants. The shapes of the Golondrina (left) and Angostura (second from left) points reflect a development from the earlier Clovis and Folsom traditions. The triangular Clear Fork tool was an adze for shaping wood and had other uses. This flake knife, created by a specialized technique known as sequent flaking indicates a shift in plant collection, particularly desert succulents such as prickly pear, sotol, and lechequilla. The Angostura point measures 6.7 cm (2.6 inches) in length. Witte Museum Collection.
