Round Table talks in Poland (6 February - 5 April 1989) concluded with an agreement between the communist authorities and Solidarity. The Round Table has resulted in the elections of 4 June 1989 - the first elections in the Soviet Bloc with the participation of the opposition. Pictured - representatives of the government side.
