Governor's Proclamation, Yosemite Grant

California Governor Frederick Lowe's Proclamation announcing the federal grant that ceded the Yosemite Valley and Mariposa Big Tree Grove to the state. This Proclamation commanded that all persons desist from trespassing or settling, cutting timber, or doing any other unlawful acts within the boundaries of the grant.
