Gown: Floor-length gown of yellow taffeta with damask meandering stripes and pink and black brocade hash marks; square neckline; self-fabric flounce extends from shoulders to V at center, tapering to hem; yellow taffeta piping at center front seam, neckline, and V seams; yellow taffeta binding at edge of flounce; princess seams; side seams; self-fabric waistband placed higher than natural waist; elbow-length set-in sleeves with fullness gathered into upper armscye; large puff at upper sleeve; yellow taffeta band with piping at top and bottom; smaller puff above elbow with yellow band and piping at cuff; both bands feature non-functional flap with covered button at outer side; two flounces at hem of skirt with piping at seam and taffeta binding at edge; skirt front set in waist seam with knife pleats; skirt constructed of five panels including one very small panel at center back; round neckline at back; shoulder seams set back with piping; princess seams at back extend from armscye to waistband; flounce with V-shaped piped seam at back, echoing front; center back opening with thread eyes; slit pocket at proper right back side seam; back of skirt cartridge pleated into waist seam; fullness of skirt at back; bodice and sleeves lined in glazed cotton; skirt unlined.

Buckle: Oblong rectangular mother-of-pearl buckle; two long slits at center; domed spots form rectangular border around two slits together; cross-hatching fills space between inner dotted border and exterior scalloped border; reticulated stars at center of each scallop; serrated edge all around; reverse is smooth.

Slippers: (A/B) Black silk satin lace-up slippers; square toe; one thin grosgrain ribbon attached at each side of shoe opening; black silk binding at shoe opening; insole and lining of cream canvas and white leather; cream cotton cord drawstring at inside center front of shoe opening; leather sole.
