The inscription reads: “The 1968 season was Australian Rugby League's Diamond Jubilee year, and to celebrate, Australia hosted its second World Cup Tournament. Coached by Harry Bath and captained by Johnny Raper, the home team dominated the series and remained undefeated. They defeated Great Britain 25–10 before a crowd of 62,256 at the SCG, New Zealand 31–12, France 37–4, and France again in the final 20–2.” The item is signed by Graeme Langlands in silver pen.
