Grandad's Island: from Page to Pavement

Throughout the summer of 2019, Grandad’s Island: from Page to Pavement saw residents, pupils and artists from Waltham Forest join together to create a community-led art-based project, curated by Artillery Arts. Based on local award-winning author/illustrator Benji Davies’ book, Grandad’s Island, the project filled the borough with colourful creations. The work of all involved was celebrated at a finale event in Langthorne Park, Leytonstone in October.
