Grape Vine Quilt

Original adaptation of applique patterns with hand appliqued leaves, stems and stuffed grapes, in three colors. Constructed in blocks with embroidery for sashing; 3 borders, 2 cream and one red. Overall machine quilted in very small stitches. The background fabric is cream that has darkened with age. Some water damage and staining. Green triangles, leaves are felt.
