These are 4-year-old Cambell grapes cultivated in the Tachibana family’s farm. In the farm, other kinds of grapes, such as Koshu, Delaware and others, were cultivated as well. When the farm was established for an agricultural experiment in 1886, it was named Nakayama Farm. It then shifted its purpose from agricultural experiment to cultivation of commercial crops, and renamed "Tachibana Farm" in 1921.
