Fondazione Museo Glauco Lombardi

Fondazione Museo Glauco Lombardi
Parma, Italy

The print is part of a group of engravings (invv. 2714-2767) of the same origin received by the Museum through an indefinite loan. The title and the two subtitles, as well as the verses in the right corner, are taken from a poem by Spenser and dedicated to Greed. Note the distort English, in the modern dialogue "bulles",used by Bonaparte and his cowardly companions.
