Diederick Kraaijeveld is a sculptor that works with salvaged wood that is sourced in abandoned buildings, beaches, city dumps and ruins all over the world.
With those pieces of wood, considered worthless by most people, Kraaijeveld creates monumental icons of desire... He only uses the painted wood in its original colors, and does not use any paint.
