Green Cape Lighthouse was designed by the New South Wales Colonial Architect, James Barnet, in 1880. The tower was completed in 1883. It was the first cast concrete lighthouse tower in Australia. Situated in the Ben Boyd National Park, the current light is operated by the Australian Maritime Safety Authority.
