Excavated in Liuli village, Ganquan town, Hanjiang district of Yangzhou city in 1985, this pot featuring a distinctive goat-head spout was crafted based on the popular chicken-head-spout pots during that historical period. With a small plate-shape opening, a narrow neck, a round belly and a bottom with a convex interior, this pot is adorned with three parallel lines around its shoulder area and two strip-shaped knobs in symmetry. A raised goat head with outstanding eyes and curly horns serves as the spout, on the opposite of which lies a belt-shaped handle. The piece is covered with even, lustrous greenish grey glaze all over except the bottom.
