Green millet flour 'Gero' (right), used in making 'Koko' porridge in Hausa, and Ground baobab leaves (left), known as 'Kuka' (in Hausa ), 'Ose' (Igbo), and 'Igiose' (Yoruba). The ground baobab leaves are used to make 'Miyan Kuka', a native Hausa soup. Fermented locust beans (front, left), known as 'Dawadawa' in Hausa, is also used in the preparation of soups including 'Miyan Kuka'.
