Designed by Madeleine Lewis, 2nd year diploma student from London. Designed at the time of the Clothing Industry's change to the metric system. "The measurements of 86-62-92 in centimetres are the nearest equivalent to a woman's average size 12 . . ." "This outfit in green perspex is fitted together with silver studs showing the new vital statistics in metric . . .It was worn in this photograph by Karen Hughes who has just completed a one year Modelling Course at the College."
