In the center Green Tara is golden in color with one face and two hands. Her right hand is extended forward resting on her knee in the gesture of generosity while holding the stem of a blue lily with the fingertips. Above her are the Protectors of the Three Families, the Bodhisattvas Manjushri, Avalokiteshvara and Vajrapani. Further, there are twenty-one manifestations of Tara surrounding the main image.
