Green Turtle skeleton

Green Turtles (Chelonia mydas) are quite common along the tropical northern Australian coastline. Adults can be seen feeding in seagrass meadows in shallow water. They lay up to 100 eggs per season, when they come ashore on sandy beaches to dig their nests.
