Green Tārā

The upper part of the statue is cast solid in mold and the lower part is cast slush or hollow without any welding by directly casting the body together with its accessories, ornaments, bracelets, and ornamental patterns of garments through the brand-new casting method called ‘nerekh’ or ‘brewing’. Noble Tara Goddess is a noble goddess who vows to liberate beings from suffering by showing them the Three Jewels of Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha. She holds a vase that protects from danger and is depicted with a peaceful and youthful face. She liberates from the eight internal dangers, which are more harmful than external dangers, including lion-like rage, elephant-like ignorance, hobble-like greed, snake-like jealousy, thief-like wrong views, fire-like wrath, water-like lust, and doubtfulness.
