This cylinder head machining equipment was custom-designed by Greenlee and measured more than 175 feet long with 50 operating stations. When in full operation it handled approximately 130 cylinder heads at a time. Wright Cyclone R1820 cylinder heads for the B-17 Flying Fortress are being milled in this image.
