The work «Group of Grey Banners» is a part of Mockutecture genre, which was created by the SPEKTR team.
Mockutecture is an architectural mirage. Illusions of the new monumentalism.
This mural is tribute to Soviet modernism, hope that the revolutionary ideas of the avant-garde will return to the city.
Street artists just use the work of architects for their paintings, turn the walls into their own canvas. SPEKTR decided to break this tradition and talk with the help of the wall, about the most important value of the city – about its architecture.
SPEKTR are convinced that the new generation of architects and developers will give the city something more. The city is fed up with glass business centers, tired of the faceless concrete sleeping areas-it is waiting for a new rhythm, waiting for its own sound.
