Giorgio De Lullo was one of the most important 'discoveries' of Pagnani. The artistic partnership began in 1946 when the actress relies upon the young student of the Accademia d'Arte Drammatica of Rome (Academy of Dramatic Arts) for Fortunio's character in 'Candlestick' of De Musset, show that the Pagnani realized with a renewed cast as a result of disagreements with Luchino Visconti, with whom he had originally designed the staging. That experience was the beginning of De Lullo's bright career as actor and, later, as director. We can find out an homage of de Lullo to Andreina in 'D'amor si muore' for director Joseph Patrons Griffi, 1958: in the middle of the scenery, there is a bedroom with a large photo of the actress.
