Guerilla War (1945-1949)

During this war, the Indonesian Armed Forces still used simple weaponery to combat the more advanced enemy. The Armed Forces had to therefore resort to a guerilla strategy that involved the entire population. In the occupied areas, the Indonesian Armed Forces established a number of guerilla outposts to establish the authority of the Republic of Indonesia.
