Asung's performance work, whether recorded in video as a part of an installation or performed live in public spaces, often aims to create spontaneous reactions from the audience; the most basic feelings like pity, fear, disgust, excitement or sadness. Asung uses these feelings as an effective entrance in creating a discussion for bigger and deeper social issues.
