Guide to Derry & Toms Roof Garden, Kensington

A guide to The Derry Roof Gardens at Derry & Toms department store in Kensington High Street, London. The gardens were designed in 1936 by the Welsh landscape architect Ralph Hancock to design and feature three themed gardens; the Spanish Garden, the English or Tudor Garden and the English Woodland Garden - plus contained a stream with birdlife including flamingos. Undated, but perhaps c.1950.
