Story: 1994 Destiny brought me to a distant land, and divinity brought me to one of human history's most incredible human beings. It was not once but on several occasions I was blessed to be in the company of this remarkable human being who epitomised the highest of human aspirations – freedom. The openness, warmth and genuine feeling for one another is marvellously demonstrated in the attached photograph of me with Madiba. Every time I was granted this opportunity to be in the vicinity of this wondrous personality I was transported to a realm which could hardly be expressed. In his magnificent presence, I slowly but surely learned the dignity, purpose and simplicity that should be followed in one's own life. For many generations to come, humanity will be continuously embraced by the magnetic inspiration of this Tallest of Men.
