<human makgeollii> is a painting work of reconstructing landscape of microorganism of one individual with ‘microorganism portrait’. It conducts researches on individual microbial community of the late Lee Kyung Hae, patriotic martyr who was a peasant movement activist by utilizing microbiology and forensic science. This Makgeolli is brewed with starter culture sampled in human body and environment, and reconstructs individual microbial community.

Ting Tong Chang is a Taiwanese artist based in London. The artist acquired a master’s degree from Goldsmiths University of London. He held private exhibitions in Kun stkraftwerk Leigzig, Asia House London, and Taipei Museum. He participated in group exhibitions in Guangzhou Triennial, Taipei Biennale, Saatchi Gallery, Compton Verney Museum, and Wellcome Trust.
