H.E. Mr. Francisco Javier Girón y Ezpeleta

Portrait of His Excellency Field Marshal Francisco Javier Girón y Ezpeleta, 2nd Duke of Ahumada and 5th Marquis of Amarillas. He was appointed Inspector General to organize the Civil Guard on April 15, 1844⁠—a post he held until August 2, 1854. He took up the position a second time from October 12, 1856 until July 2, 1858.
