Hacking Artworks

Here, Wukir Suryadi collaborates with Ardi Gunawan to create a music instrument from an artwork considered to be obsolete by the artist. Wukir and Ardi started from the process to create an artwork: material processing produces leftovers and even “trash”. Will this trash still retain its symbolic and material value to be later utilized? The produced instrument is played in an ensemble with professional musicans and composer.
