Hai Van Gate, located on the top of Hai Van Pass, seperates Thua Thien Hue Province and Da Nang City. Hai Van Gate has been recognized as a national architectural and artistic monument of Vietnam since 2017. Present in Le Dynasty, but it was until 1826 in King Minh Mang's time that Hai Van Gate was built into today's magnificient structure.
