Hairwork picture

A framed hairwork picture forming bouquet of flowers. A number of flowers show gilt and blue bead centres. The stems are tied with brown fringed silk ribbon, in gilt box frame with blue interior sides. the inscription states 'made by Mrs M Kunst: Dec. 1856'. While not provenanced to the past occupants of the house, it is of the period and depicts what is likely to have been on display in the Homestead.
