Hak Yeonhwadae Cheyongmu hapseol [Dance of the Crane, Lotus Flower and Cheoyong]

"Hak/Yeonhwadae/Cheyongmu hapseol" is a combination of "Hakmu", "Yeonhwadae" and "Cheyongmul" which was performed on New Year's Eve. The dance was a part of the marye ritual to drive demons and death from the houses of civilians as well as the palace. The "Hakchum" begins with the emergence of a crane, but moves into the "Yeonhwadaemu" as the crane alights on top of a lotus flower. Later, the "Cheyongmu" is combined to create a spectacular sight, displaying altogether approximately 70 dancers.
