Each year Australia's peak surfing body Surfing Australia hosts Australia's annual Surfing Awards. As part of the awards celebration a significant Australian surfer is inducted into the Australian Surfing Hall Of fame. Each inductee receives a trophy and is remembered via a tribute surfboard in the Hallof Fame at the Australian National Surfing Museum in Torquay.
