Hallucinogen tray with anthropomorphous figures

This small item of ritual shamanistic paraphernalia among the Muisca is, both, a device for taking hallucinogenic snuff or some other narcotic substance, and a representation of an act which had as much cultural significance for pre-Hispanic indigenous peoples as it has for those of today.
