This is a metal halter with a leather strap used for fastening and leading a horse. It is put on a horse's head and mouth to aid in controlling the horse easily. It is made by a konso blacksmith by putting a metal on fire until it turns red hot then cut into several pieces welded together to attain it shape. A leather strap is tied on it to enable the rider in controlling horse.
