Long Description: Luigi Kasimir (1881 - 1962) was born in Ptuj, today Slovenia, then a part of the Austro-Hungarian monarchy. He attended the Vienna Academy of Art. He was among the first to develop the technique of the coloured etching. His favourite genre was the landscape. He depicted monuments, street scenes, and tourist landmarks from all over Europe and U.S.
