terrain model is based on the results of geological drilling and archaeological
investigations. Beyond that, excavations only prove the moat of the Hammaburg.
The virtual reconstruction of the rising parts of the development and the
dimensions of the settlement are based on archaeological evidence and the
comparison with contemporary findings from northern Germany.
