Hammered dulcimer from Rzeszów region

In Poland, cymbals were probably used in 11th century. They used to be popular among musicians from Silesian highlanders, gypsies and Jews. They were played solo or in ensembles, and they became a permanent part of Rzeszów's bands after World War II.
