Originally produced by Spanish company Magic Box Int., Gogo's Crazy Bones consist of collectible figures in various colors. Inspired by the ancient game of Knucklebones, which in turn led to such modern games as marbles and jacks, Crazy Bones is played with hundreds of plastic figures, each with its own name and face. Their collectible nature leads fans to label each figure on a "rare" scale to show how common (or uncommon) they may be. At the hight of their popularity in the late 1990s and early 2000s, many schools banned Crazy Bones due to claims that they disrupted classes and encouraged theft.
