Entex Industries was founded in Compton, California in 1970 by Tony Clowes, Nicholas Carlozzi and Nick Underhill. The company originally produced model kits and LEGO-esq building sets called Loc Blocs, then branched out into handheld and tabletop electronic games. Entex games tended to retail at higher price points than their competitors, but they advertised their games as "high end" for "the discriminating player" to compensate. The company folded in the early 1980s due to increased competition in the electronic games market.
