Hans Ulrich Obrist opening the inaugural Johannesburg edition of the 'Brutally Early Club' salon

Closing out the 3–day sojourn in Johannesburg, was the first-ever session of Hans-Ulrich Obrist’s notorious ‘Brutally Early Club.’ The salon–a tradition that began back in London in 2006–gathers critical contemporary thinkers for intimate, lively conversations, and opened at 6:30am with Obrist’s energic question, “What feels is urgent?”
