Hanukah lamp, Europe, c.1900

Hanukah lamp in the Art nouveau style, with vase-shaped silver burners screwed into a wood base. A shaped silver backplate is attached to a wooden panel and is decorated with Art Nouveau style scrolling. In the centre are two lions flanking a seven-branched menorah. On top of the lion's heads on either side are pedestals supporting flaming urns. The pedestals are inset with green paste/glass gems. The lamp is inscribed with Hebrew inscription 'Light the Hanukah Candle'.
