Hanukkah lamp

The Hanukkah lamp is a candelabrum with eight receptacles for oil or candles and one more, the ninth, called Shammash, used to light the others. It commemorates the miracle that happened in the Temple of Jerusalem looted by the Greeks. With enough oil to burn for just one day, it kept buring for eight days. It is used to celebrate the Hanukkah festival. Lent in memory of Antonietta T. Feffer and Leon Feffer. Copper Hanukkah lamp with cutting work, topped by two birds' heads over Hebrew inscription.
