Place des Arts gave a group of kids from the Ville-Marie borough the opportunity to create a large-scale artistic project on its Esplanade, in collaboration with MU and Loisirs St-Jacques.

Produced by MU and designed by Cyndie Belhumeur and Isabelle Duguay, the mural entitled Harmony is 80 linear feet of palisade. It was painted by a group of young, dynamic and playful creators aged 6 to 14 who took part in the day camps organized by Loisirs Saint-Jacques, at the Habitations Jeanne-Mance housing project.

The mural draws inspiration from the Place des Arts Junior programming, a multidisciplinary series of shows meant to encourage artistic encounters and initiate kids and their families to the performing arts.
